We cannot directly force or demand the peace of mind but we can prepare the mind to become still. Shriram Sarvotham
Have you ever looked at your mind when swirling situations arise? If so, you probably noticed that these situations cause strong and effective emotions within your body and mind. When emotions are on a high, we tend to react impulsively and we get carried away easily. We loose our awareness and we loose ourselves in the ocean of feelings and present moment. We usually focus on what happened instead of concentrating on what should we do about it. Worry and anxiety minimalize our ability to think clearly wherefore we often end up reacting to the situation, instead of responding to it.
Unpeaceful mind filled with such swirling thoughts drains out the energy called prana (life force energy), leaving us completely exhausted, unstable and thwarted. The best answer to this downward feeling is the meditation that systematically practiced, teaches our mind to bring back the peace effortlessly. It also makes you act with the complete awareness and attention to the present moment; makes the stress gone and leaves our mind fresh and clear. Thus, even in swirling situations, the inner peace spreads the vibrations of peace around and helps reduce all the turbulences throughout. Practice of meditation support us with remaining harmonized during any circumstance; makes us mentally strong, brings the inner peace, increases emotional resilience and is an effective way to de-stress our mind.
Dedicating few minutes a day for meditation will help you to stay peaceful. Make it your daily routine and make the most of it until one day you’ll experience the joy of being in control of all the emotions within yourself.
